Kanye West Will be Hosting Album Listening Party in Atlanta for ‘Donda’

Kanye West will host a listening party for his new album Donda on July 22nd at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta. The concert is set to start at 8:00 p.m. ET.

Live Nation and Ticketmaster unveiled a ticket portal for the event shortly after images of the album’s cover art – named after West’s late mother – were unveiled Monday. Despite Live Nation’s announcement on Twitter that ticket sales will begin at 5:00 p.m. ET/2:00 p.m. PT on Monday, ticket sales began at 3:00 p.m. ET. If Ticketmaster.com is sold out, look for tickets on VividSeats.com.

In recent years, West has held a number of marquee album release parties. In 2016, he debuted The Life of Pablo at a Madison Square Garden fashion show, and in 2018, he flew a slew of journalists and celebrities to Wyoming for his Ye listening party.

West’s first album since Jesus Is Born, a gospel-inspired album recorded with his Sunday Service Choir in 2019, is Donda. He delivered an EP with the Choir, the five-song Emmanuel last year. West hasn’t said whether Donda would be a follow-up to Sunday Service or a return to hip-hop.

West previously stated that he produced Lil Nas X’s new track “Industry Baby,” which will be dropped on Friday, July 23rd.
