On Suzi Analogue’s Never Normal Records, KHX05 has released a remix collection from their “BLXCK KXT” EP.
Iron Dylan, Lord Naff of Awful Records, Rozay Labeija of House of Labeija, GHOZT, and Never Normal/Teklife affiliate Heavee all contribute to the ‘BLXCK KXT REMIX EP.’ Each of the five remixers gives KHX05’s (pronounced Chaos) raw and experimental rap songs their unique touch, with lyrics that tell stories about their trans experience.
A video for Rozay Labeija’s remix of “Edna Mode,” in which both musicians perform alongside dancers Coco Kinston and Luna, has also been unveiled.
KHX05 is a queer/trans rapper and multi-disciplinary musician with Gullah-Geechee cultural roots residing in Durham, North Carolina.
