The Smashing Pumpkins have revealed the release of their first archival album, Live in Japan 1992, a limited-edition 2LP collection showcasing the band’s visit to Kawasaki’s Club Citta in February 1992.
The live record will only be available for 24 hours via Madame Zuzu’s webstore, as announced by Billy Corgan and Jimmy Chamberlin during their 30th anniversary livestream celebrating Gish. The limited edition autographed copies have already sold out.
Corgan said of revisiting the band’s Nineties music on tour and through reissues in an interview with Rolling Stone honouring the 30th anniversary of Gish.
