Willow Smith faces a creepy figure in a dingy rock club in the video of in ‘Transparent Soul’

Willow Smith’s song “Transparent Soul,” which features Blink-182 drummer Travis Barker, has a new music video.

Smith is shown breaking into a shabby rock club, ripping a cigarette from someone’s mouth, taking a drag, and barreling across the room. Smith appears to become extremely anxious and disoriented in between scenes of her singing the song with her band, confronting a mysterious stranger in the bathroom who then chases her outside the club. The clip concludes with Smith cautiously extending his hand toward the stranger before cutting to black.

Smith’s latest album, “Transparent Soul,” was released in April. Smith’s earlier musical endeavours were primarily pop and R&B, but “Transparent Soul” marked a full-fledged turn into pop-punk and rock, genres she’d admired since joining her mother Jada Pinkett Smith on tour with her metal band Wicked Wisdom.
