Maroon 5 have confirmed that their new studio album, Jordi, will be released on June 11th through 222/Interscope.
Jordan Feldstein, the band’s late manager, died in 2017 of a heart attack, and the album is named after him. In the years since, Maroon 5 has released numerous tributes to Feldstein, including the standalone track “Memories” in 2019. Jordi will include “Memories,” as well as the band’s new single “Beautiful Mistakes,” which features Megan Thee Stallion. As of Thursday, the album is available for pre-order.
Maroon 5 will host a virtual concert in collaboration with American Express on June 4th, a week before the album’s release date, where they will sing songs from Jordi live for the first time. The show’s tickets can be purchased from LiveNow.
Red Pill Blues, Maroon 5’s most recent full-length album, was released in 2017. They released the standalone single “Nobody’s Love” in 2020, along with a socially distant visual directed by David Dobkin, in addition to “Memories.”Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the band had to reschedule their spring and summer 2020 tour. This summer, they’ll resume their rescheduled North American tour. The tour will now begin on August 10th at the White River Amphitheatre in Auburn, Washington, after several dates in July were postponed.
