Mdou Moctar has shared a piece of new music titled Niger EP Vol. 1. The EP comprises an alternate edition of “Chismiten” and “Imouhar” along with live versions of four other tracks. The tracks are recorded between 2017 to 2020.
Since their Afrique Victime, The band has issued a documentary about the making of the record along with the Live at the Niger River performance video. The group is also heading for a handful of shows on a North American tour, scheduled for August and September.
