On April 23rd, Lil Yachty will unleash his new mixtape, Michigan Boy Boat. The rapper announced the tracks with an Instagram teaser that shows him paying homage to his state.
Lil Yachty has yet to announce the official tracklist for the mixtape, which will feature up-and-coming rappers from Detroit and Flint.
Lil Yachty dropped “Royal Rumble” earlier this year, which stars Michigan’s rap scene’s six MCs: Krispylife Kid, Rio Da Yung OG, Babyface Ray, RMC Mike, DC2Trill, and Icewear Vezzo. The track is likely to appear on Michigan Boy Boat.
Lil Yachty’s most recent studio album, Lil Boat 3, was released in May of last year. Birthday Mix 5 was released in August, continuing his trend of releasing a batch of new songs on his birthday.
