NEW EMINEM & CEELO GREEN SONG, “THE KING AND I”, PRODUCED BY DR. DRE

Elvis, Baz Luhrmann’s new Elvis Presley biopic, opens in theaters on June 24, but you can listen to Eminem’s latest single for the film starting today. It’s named “The King and I,” and CeeLo Green is included. Dr. Dre has produced the song.

Elvis recounts Elvis Presley’s life and career. It stars Austin Butler as the legendary rock musician and Tom Hanks as Elvis Presley’s controversial manager Colonel Tom Parker. In addition to “The King & I,” the film also features “Vegas,” a new song by Doja Cat, and “Tupelo Shuffle,” a recent single by Swae Lee and Diplo.

The most recent album by Eminem, Music to Be Murdered By, was launched in 2020. Since then, he has been honored in the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, released a 20th-anniversary edition of The Eminem Show, and played with Dr. Dre, Kendrick Lamar, Snoop Dogg, and Mary J. Blige during the Super Bowl 2022 halftime show. In an apparent tribute to Colin Kaepernick, Eminem took a knee during his “Lose Yourself” performance at that last gala.
