NIA ARCHIVES RELEASED ‘FORBIDDEN FEELINGZ,’ THE LATEST TRACK INSPIRED BY ’90S JUNGLE AND REGGAE

Nia Archives has released a new track influenced by jungle and reggae from the 1990s.

‘Forbidden Feelingz’ is the Leeds-born, London-based artist’s first song since her first EP, ‘Headz Gone West,’ was released earlier this year. The single includes a sampled piece of Colombo from the eponymous 1970s detective series, as a tribute to her Grandma Liz.

The single is backed with a black and white stop motion video directed by Delphino, which is inspired by old school reggae and dub, and also jungle and breakbeat.

Nia Archives began her production career in 2017, aided by an EQ50-led mentoring with the legendary V Recordings. Previously, the producer, songwriter, DJ, and visual artist was named one of DJ Mag’s upcoming talents to watch.
