ON ‘DISCOVERY,’ A NEW DAFT PUNK PODCAST EXAMINES EACH TRACK

A new podcast series has debuted that examines Daft Punk’s legendary 2001 album ‘Discovery’ in depth.

The series, which is part of the Line Noise podcast, is hosted by journalist Ben Cardew, who recently wrote for DJ Mag about Daft Punk’s enduring influence. He’ll focus on one track from the album in each episode, with editions of legendary classics like ‘One More Time,’ ‘Aerodynamic,’ and ‘Digital Love’ already accessible to listen to.

‘Daft Punk’s Discovery: The Future Unfurled,’ a new book by Cardew on Daft Punk and ‘Discovery,’ is being released ahead of the debut of the miniature podcast series. The book contains over 25 interviews, as well as previously unreleased interview material with the French duo, and will be available in paperback and e-book formats beginning in September.

In other news, the UK Government rejected a petition to “bring back Daft Punk” last month, while a limited-edition vinyl copy of their final album, ‘Random Access Memories,’ sold for $2,139 on Discogs in March of this year.
