‘ONE’ A FOUR-TRACK EP IS ANNOUNCED BY COUCOU CHLOE

COUCOU CHLOE, a.k.a. Erika Jane, will release her third EP, ‘ONE,’ on December 9th.

The four-track album will include her latest self-produced hit, ‘WIZZ,’ a cheerful bass-house track with COUCOU’s vocals. ‘ONE’ is the follow-up to her critically praised 2019 EP, ‘NAUGHTY DOG.’

The video for her current track, filmed by long-time partner Samuel Ibram, was released last week and features the singer and producer relaxing in a pink limousine while dressed in a wedding gown.

Along with ‘WIZZ,’ the new EP will include three more tracks: ‘ZERO FIVE STARS,’ ‘BLINK,’ and ‘FREEZE,’ all of which feature multifaceted artist Kai Whiston.

COUCOU’s latest album was conceived and composed during the pandemic, twisting her angry lockdown feelings into a club-ready EP with some prime vocal performances, like the breathy EP-closer, ‘BLINK.’

COUCOU told Crack that she wants to start expressing herself “through a lot of mediums,” including visuals, in an interview.

COUCOU, a singer, producer, DJ, and co-founder of NUXXE collective with Sega Bodega and Shygirl, was included on Lady Gaga’s current album, ‘Dawn of Chromatica,’ where she produced a remix of Gaga’s ‘Stupid Love’ for the experimental hyperpop album.

LSDXOXO, Charli XCX, Arca, Shygirl, and other electronic producers contributed songs to ‘Dawn of Chromatica.’

COUCOU is currently on tour in the United Kingdom with Mykki Blanco.
