PHOENIX ANNOUNCED A NEW ALBUM ALPHA ZULU AND SHARED A TRACK FEATURING EZRA KOENIG

Phoenix have announced their first album in five years. It is called Alpha Zulu and arrives on November 4 via Layaute/Glassnote. The upcoming self-produced album follows the band’s 2017 album Ti Amo.

Phoenix also shared the latest track “Tonight” featuring Vampire Weekend’s Ezra Koenig. The video for the track is directed by Oscar Boyson.

Previously, the band released the title track of the upcoming album earlier this year. Their 2020’s single “Identical” appeared in the recent movie On the Rocks. Alpha Zulu is largely inspired by the band’s long-time friend and collaborator Philippe Zdar, who died in 2019.
