Gunna has released a romantic music video of his valentine’s day special single “Banking on Me.”
On his 29th birthday on June 14, he also issued his first statement about his detention on racketeering charges. He was named among 28 defendants in a RICO indictment of the label YSL and got arrested in May. YSL was defined as a “criminal street gang” by the 56-count charges.
Gunna pleaded not to be guilty to the violation of the RICO act but, he was denied bond and set to go to trial in 2023. Gunna wrote in his statement “I am falsely accused and will never stop fighting to clear my name!”
