REIF, a Berlin-based art group, has collaborated on their first compilation, ‘REIF01,’ alongside 15 artists and producers.
rRoxymore, MadAlba, Jeff Mills, and others have all collaborated with the Berlin collective in the past, including rRoxymore, MadAlba, and Jeff Mills.
The 15-track compilation, which will be released on December 10th, will examine techno in a fresh perspective, moving from Jeff Mills’ harder, old school sounds to rRoxymore’s clear cuts centered around iconic Panorama Bar parties.
Asmara, Richard Kennedy, Sene, BOTO, and Juan Ramos’ exclusive single ‘Iniciado’ is out today via the art collective’s imprint.
The new single from the Puerto Rican-American producer and Cocktail d’Amore resident also comes with a music video created by 3D artist Omer Schwartz.
They said that the pandemic’s halt caused the collective to reassess and rework the manner they made this initial compilation, putting a strong emphasis on the collaborative culture.
