Skream, the dubstep pioneer, revealed this week that he is launching a new label imprint.
IFEEL will be launched with Skream’s latest three-track EP, “Chesters Groove.” Norman Nodge, a 16-year Berghain resident, will contribute two remixes.
Skream already runs the Of Unsound Mind imprint, which has unveiled music by Sfire, Black Girl/White Girl, and Richie Blacker, among others.
On May 21, ‘Chesters Groove’ will be dropped. The title track ticks over patiently, its techno four-to-the-floor rhythm building and building. It’ll be a surefire dancefloor filler until clubbing is legalized again.
INSA, the GIF-ITI pioneer who created gif animation from graffiti, created the cover art for ‘Chesters Groove.’
Following volumes one and two, which were released in 2020, the dubstep pioneer has released the third compilation of his own unreleased classics this year. He also recently recorded an hour-long mix of new dubstep tracks at London’s Royal Albert Hall as part of fabric’s London Unlocked series.
