SOFT CELL RECENTLY ANNOUNCED THE RELEASED OF THEIR FIRST ALBUM IN OVER 20 YEARS.

Soft Cell, the synth-pop giants, have revealed their first album in 20 years, titled “*Happiness Not Included,” will be released in February.

According to vocalist Marc Almond, the pair will explore modern social challenges as well as utopian ideas over the course of twelve songs.

During the current pandemic, the record was made remotely.

The band’s fifth studio album, ‘*Happiness Not Included,’ will be their follow-up to 2002’s ‘Cruelty Without Beauty.’

Soft Cell’s legendary debut album ‘Non-Stop Erotic Cabaret,’ which includes the chart-topping cover of Gloria Jones’ ‘Tainted Love,’ and other timeless singles like ‘Say Hello, Wave Goodbye,’ and ‘Sex Dwarf,’ is celebrating its 40th anniversary this year. In both the United Kingdom and Canada, the album was certified platinum.
