SOICHI TERADA IS SET TO RELEASE HIS FIRST FULL-LENGTH ALBUM IN SIX YEARS

Soichi Terada, a Japanese producer, composer, and founder of Far East Recording, is launching his first full-length album since 2015.

The 56-year-old will return with a new album named ‘Asakusa Light,’ which will be released on December 13 via Rush Hour Music.

Terada has already unveiled one track from the album, titled “Bamboo Fighter,” and musicians and DJs have announced another track at festivals and performances this summer.

Hunee, a German disc jockey, is seen spinning a Masalo remix of Terada’s new single “Diving Into Minds” at an event in Belgium in a video uploaded on Instagram by Rush Hour Music.

The new album comes six years after the release of ‘Sounds from the Far East,’ a four-sided compilation album featuring Shinichiro Yokota. The album was well-received, and it includes recordings from Terada’s early 1990s work.

Terada will perform in Edinburgh, Manchester, and London in the coming months, as part of the UK and European tours.

On December 13, ‘Asakusa Light’ will be released.
