SOPHIE’S BROTHER DISCLOSED THAT THERE ARE “HUNDREDS” OF UNRELEASED TRACKS

SOPHIE’S brother spoke out about the plans to unveil some of the late artist’s unreleased tracks posthumously.

Ben Long told Billboard that SOPHIE, who died tragically earlier this year, had produced and preserved in the vaults “literally hundreds of tracks” that the artist’s estate may potentially release. SOPHIE’s family and the artist’s labels, Transgressive Records and Future Classic, are still debating which material will be released. Long stated that the final choice will always be made by his family, which consists of himself, his parents, and his two sisters.

Long speculated that SOPHIE’s estate would seek advice from some of SOPHIE’s close collaborators in the process of unveiling some of the material.
