The music video for “Death,” the last track from Spirit of the Beehive’s EP Entertainment, Death, has been released. The animated visual, directed by Jeff Watterson and Boy Tillekens, portrays a child taken by aliens and the family members who are grieving for him. Others begin to float up into the sky one by one, but one parental figure resists and poses existential questions before succumbing to the abyss.
Spirit of the Beehive enlisted Animal Collective’s Avey Tare to remix the single “It Might Take Some Time” after unveiling Entertainment, Death, one of the best records of 2021, last spring.
Spirit of the Beehive will tour in support of their new album next month. The North American tour will take place on 32 dates in the United States and Canada.
