STEVE AOKI & MARVEL COLLABORATED ON A NEW FASHION COLLECTION

‘Venom vs. Carnage,’ a new fashion collection from Steve Aoki’s fashion and record label Dim Mak, has partnered up with Marvel Entertainment.

The collection, which was released on Friday (September 24th), merges some of Marvel’s darker characters with Dim Mak’s punk-influenced visual aesthetic. Venom is a sentient alien symbiote that frequently appears in Marvel comics with Spiderman, straddling the line between good and evil as he juggles his desire to both defend and destroy humanity. Carnage, on the other hand, is a more blatantly villainous Marvel character. As Venom’s spawn, he eventually shows to be more deadly than his creator, requiring Venom to join forces with his old foe, Spiderman, to fight him.

T-shirts in black and gradient tie-dye (priced $38-45) and Hoodies in slime green and blood-red tie dyes (priced $75-85) are among the six-piece collection. Dim Mak’s webstore has it right now.

The release of the collection follows the announcement of a new collaboration between Aoki and Armin van Buuren earlier this week.

In July, Aoki worked with Bulgari on a £3,050 luxury watch that was “made for raves.”
