Metronomy, a British electronic pop duo, has released a garage-infused remix of Suagababes’ hit “Overload.”
Metronomy collaborated with the girl group to remix the classic single for Sugababes’ upcoming rework album, which will remix all of the songs from their first album, “One Touch,” for its 20th anniversary.
With re-pitched vocals and synchronised drums, the new version of ‘Overload’ transforms the early 2000s pop single into a dancefloor banger.
The 20th-anniversary remake album will also include an MNEK remix of the girl group’s “Run For Cover,” as well as a subsequent appearance by Blood Orange.
When the trio was 15 and 16, they released ‘One Touch,’ which received worldwide attention.
