Sun Ra Arkestra has come up with the announcement of a new record titled “Living Sky.” It is a follow-up to their grammy-nominated LP Swirling. It is arriving on October 7 via Omni Sound. The lead track “Somebody Else’s Idea” has been shared by the studio.
Somebody Else’s Idea got originally released in 1955 and again in 1970 to get featured on My Brother The Wind, Vol II. The new album features a total of 19 musicians along with a string section. Dave Darlington has mixed and mastered the album alongside Brian Lynch, Eddie Palmieri, and Wayne Shorter, among others.
