SWEDISH HOUSE MAFIA & THE WEEKND ANNOUNCED THEIR COLLABORATION

The Weeknd and Swedish House Mafia look to be announcing their latest collaboration.

The Weeknd recently posted two snippets of new music to his Instagram account, tagging the Swedish group in the posts.

The short video show the lines “Like a moth to a flame,” as well as a message that reads “to be continued” popping up on the screen.

The possibility of a collaboration follows The Weeknd’s recent selection of songs by other artists on his Apple Music 1 radio show, Memento Mori, with an emphasis on those who have influenced his upcoming album. Swedish House Mafia was one of the musicians featured, along with Kanye West, Britney Spears, Nas, and others.

The Weeknd announced that the latest album will be ready by the end of the month, but it looks that it is still in the works.

Swedish House Mafia was one of the performers at this year’s MTV Video Music Awards, which took place over the weekend.

The group announced last month that they were working on their first new album in nine years, ‘Paradise Again,’ which will be released before the end of 2021.
