TAYLOR SWIFT BREAKS THE RECORD FOR MOST VIDEO OF THE YEAR WINS AT 2022 VMAs, ANNOUNCED A NEW RECORD, MIDNIGHTS

Taylor Swift won the video of the year award at the 2022 MTV Video Music Awards on August 28. She received the award for her 10-minute single “All Too Well: The Short Film.” Swift thanked her fans after accepting the award and also revealed her upcoming album, ‘Midnights’ arriving on October 21.

The singer took the trophy home for the third time this year. Her third win has broken the record for most VMAs Video of the year awards. She previously received the award in 2015 for “Bad Blood” and in 2019 for “You Need to Calm Down.”

 

Before Swift’s latest win, the most Video of the Year wins was tied up between four artists: Swift, Beyoncé, Rihanna, and Eminem.
