The Beatles’ ‘Get Back’ Rooftop Performance Is Now Available To Stream

More than 50 years after The Beatles called it quits, the epic farewell concert of the quartet is now available for streaming.

The audio of the historic 1969 rooftop performance was released at midnight as a companion piece to “Get Back,” Peter Jackson’s marathon Beatles documentary that debuted on Disney+ in three parts in November.

“Get Back”, the rooftop performance, is a time capsule of the Beatles’ last album. The Beatles formally disbanded in 1970, evidently at the pinnacle of their musical talents.

The video showed the band members as they set about creating and recording an album’s worth of material, then playing those songs live across Savile Row. The recordings are now accessible in new stereo and Dolby Atmos mixes by Sam Okell and Giles Martin.
