The Disco Pirates have unveiled a 10-track project named ‘Getting Away With Murder Vol 1′, which is comprised entirely of bootlegs.
The pair have vowed to offer the soundtrack to a summer of fun and “a party like no other” with this megamix, which includes disco, soul, funk, and house.
Shaun Duvet and Ronald Rowley’s Disco Pirates will also be on a South African tour in the following months, bringing the party to numerous locations around the country.
Their Instagram has a complete list of dates and venues for their South African tour.
Shaun and Ron selected ten of their favorite vintage tunes from a wide range of house, disco, and soul oldies and remixed them in their own bootleg, which took almost two years to finish.
Shaun has been a fan of dance floor culture since he was a child in Johannesburg in the mid-1990s; he currently runs The Unit, a South African entertainment holding company.
Ronald, a Durban native now based in Cape Town, owns a residence at Origin and has obtained residencies at Czar & Tilt.
This initiative was created to gather together the two of them’ favorite songs.
