The First U.S. Headlining Tour in Five Years is Announced by My Morning Jacket

My Morning Jacket will return to the road in August for their first headlining tour in the United States in five years.

The tour kicks off on August 27th at Charlotte, North Carolina’s Metro Credit Union Amphitheatre, and will stop in New York, Seattle, and other cities before wrapping up on November 4th, 5th, and 6th at Chicago’s Auditorium Theater.

My Morning Jacket will also co-headline dates with Brittany Howard from September 3rd to 11th, performing with her in Alpharetta, Georgia; Columbia, Maryland; Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; and a two-night stint in Queens, New York. Flock of Dimes (August 27th), Durand Jones & the Indications (September 23rd through October 3rd), and Bedouine (October 29th through November 6th) are the tour’s openers .

On the tour, My Morning Jacket will perform at many festivals, including the Railbird Festival in Lexington, Kentucky (August 28th), the Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival in Manchester, Tennessee (September 4th), the Ohana Festival in Dana Point, California (September 24th), and the Suwannee Hulaween in Live Oak, Florida (October 30th).
