THE LOVER’S & FRIENDS’ FESTIVAL IN LAS VEGAS EXPERIENCED A SECURITY INCIDENT, HOSPITALIZING THREE PEOPLE

TMZ reported that three individuals were hospitalized, and others were hurt following a ‘security incident’ at the Lovers & Friends Festival in Las Vegas.

The event occurred on the opening night of the Nevada-based festival on Saturday, May 14.

According to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police, the event occurred at 10 p.m., when false rumors of nearby gunfire provoked a mass exodus.

According to News 3, three attendees were sent to the nearest hospital with minor injuries. The show was briefly halted while the incident occurred.

Authorities determined that the reported gunfire was indeed a “false alarm” and permitted the festival to proceed on the evening and the following day on Sunday, May 15.
