The National have dropped a remix of Neu!’s “Im Glück” track. The original track by the duo of Michael Rother and the late Klaus Dinger was released on their self-titled LP in 1972. The reissue titled “Im Glick (The National Remix)” will appear on a tribute album that will feature on the upcoming Neu!50! box set.
Neu!50! will feature three studio albums– Neu!, Neu! 2!, Neu! 75, and Neu! ’86 in the CD box. The tribute will include reworks from Idles, Yann Tiersen, Alexia Taylor, and Guerilla Toss among others. In June, Stephen Morris and Gabe Gursney dropped a remix of the duo’s single “Hallogallo.”
The National shared their latest single “Weird Goodbyes’ last week, featuring vocals from Justin Vernon of Bon Iver.
