The Walkmen have disclosed a deluxe reissue of their fourth album You & Me. The Sun Studio Edition of this record was fully modified by Chris Colbert at National Freedom and also includes to-be-released tracks and newly released live studio takes. The reissue will be available in digital and 2xLP formats. The band also released new sessions for Canadian Girl (Sun Studio version) and Louisiana (Sun Studio version).
You & Me was presented to the audience in 2008 by Walkmen. The album was recorded at Memphis’ legendary Sun Studio featuring artists Jeremy Shrader, Ben Cauley, Paul Brandenberg, Sean Murphy, and Jason Yasinsky.
The final album “Heaven” by Walkmen got released in 2012. Two solo albums “Black Hours and The Loves of Your Life” and “I Had a Dream That You Were Mine” were released by the leader of the band Hamilton Leithauser.
