A remix of a Fatboy Slim classic has been released.
Todd Edwards has redone Fatboy’s 1998 track ‘The Rockafeller Skank’ for a forthcoming remix compilation titled “Everybody Loves a Remix.” The bouncing house remix, which will be unveiled on Friday, October 22nd, will be followed by a series of A-class remixes, which will be unleashed every two weeks.
‘Rockafeller Skank,’ which used samples from Lord Finesse, Art of Noise, and Just Brothers, charted highly around the world in 1998. In the United Kingdom, it was later certified Gold.
The release of ‘Everybody Loves A Mixtape’ comes ahead of the premiere of English producer and DJ Cook’s upcoming ‘We’ve Come A Long Way Together’ UK tour, which begins on Thursday, November 4th at Cardiff’s Motorpoint Arena and will travel to London, Liverpool, Glasgow, and a host of other locations.
Fatboy Slim also shared a new KiNK remix of his smash ‘Weapon Of Choice,’ which marks the 20th anniversary of the song.
