Maggie Rogers has released a music video for her latest single, “Want Want.” It’s the new song from her upcoming record Surrender, which Capitol will release on July 29.
Kid Harpoon and Del Water Gap collaborated with Rogers to develop “Want Want.” She recorded the track at Peter Gabriel’s Real World Studios near Bath, England, New York’s Electric Lady Studios, and Scarborough, Maine’s Sid’s Palace. Rogers recorded the lyrics in quarantine with Del Water Gap in Maine and completed it in New York and Bath with Kid Harpoon.
Rogers’ 2019 album Surrender follows Heard It in a Past Life. She was nominated for the 2020 Grammy Award for Best New Artist.
