Creatures Of The Night is the new label by Mexican duo Zombies In Miami.
The initial release will be a body of work by the couple and their peer Lauer, and it will be a place for their creeping, groove-infused tunes.
The three-tracker, dubbed ‘Michelada Bros,’ is made up of synth-driven disco songs that derive from the creators’ shared passions.
‘Calamato,’ the first track, features piano sounds, acid components, and delicate pads, while ‘Michelada,’ the second track, is a combination of both performers’ soulful inspirations.
It features huge chords that move in and outwards as the track continues, as well as synths that add to the escapist atmosphere that the song is aiming for. The final track, ‘Tom,’ is a six-minute lively cut that incorporates more acid lines and strong drum beats, capping up the debut album on a high note.
Zombies in Miami is a Mexican live DJ project. The duo has released music on a variety of indie labels throughout the world, but the release and creation of their own label signal a new chapter in their career.
