Cola, the new band formed by Tim Darcy and Ben Stidworthy of Ought, together with drummer Evan Cartwright, has announced the release of their debut album, “Deep in View,” via Fire Talk on May 20. “So Excited” is the album’s first single.
Cola was first conceived by Darcy and bassist Stidworthy in the autumn of 2019 when they approached Cartwright about partnering.
Last year, Ought confirmed their split. The band was formed in 2011 and their final album, “Room Inside the World,” was released in 2018. Tim Darcy unveiled his solo album Saturday Night in 2017.
