The iconic Dego returns with a new album, ‘The Negative Positive,’ next week.
It will be unveiled on vinyl and digitally on April 30 under his own 2000black label, which specializes in music from the African diaspora that transcends genres.
The nine tracks on ‘The Negative Positive’ fuse techno, disco, and boogie, demonstrating why Dego is regarded as an innovator and boundary pusher. The album includes two vocal collaborations, the first with Nadine Charles on “This Is A Message To You,” and the second with Samii, a recent 2000black signee on “Recovered Memories.”
Dego and Matt Lord collaborated on a four-track EP recently called ‘Lord & dego,’ which was unveiled earlier this month.
