Gorillaz joined Thundercat for the new single “Cracker Island”. Gorillaz along with Greg Kurstin and Remi Kabaka Jr. has produced this song.
At present, Gorillaz are on a Europe tour. The North American part of the tour will begin in September. Gorilla last released a full-length Song Machine, Season One: Strange Timez in 2020. Besides this, Damon Albarn dropped a solo album, The Nearer the Fountain, More Pure the Stream Flows. He also got featured at Coachella, performing alongside Billie Eilish.
The Thundercat’s last released album ‘It Is What It Is’ bagged him The Grammy Award for Best progressive R&B Album. He also made performances during his Europe tour wrapped up in North America in July.
